My 5 Minute Face Faves

Waking up to an alarm that rings between 4:30am -6:30am is not always enjoyable. ESPECIALLY if you go to bed after midnight. Because there are days that you just can’t spend more than 5 minutes on your face I pulled together my 5 favorite products for a quick, but pretty face.

Don’t skip washing your face and putting on moisturizer, even on a rushed day. If you do, you’ll regret it. Promise.

Step 1: Use Lancôme MIRACLE CUSHION Liquid Cushion Compact Foundation and pat all over face. This is fast, easy, and gives a really natural finish. On really rushed mornings I skip concealer. But if you need one I like MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer in the shade Brightner. If you tend to get oily, dust powder over your entire face (especially over your concealer if you used it!).

Step 2: Now take your blush brush (My go-to is the Real Techniques Blush Brush) and place blush on your cheeks. Typically I choose to place blush on the apples of my cheeks. But since I’m not using any other face product to warm up my complexion I place it from the apple and up the cheekbone.

My favorite on mornings like this is a blush that practically combines bronzer, blush, and highlighter: Benefit Cosmetics Rockateur Box o’ Powder Blush. It looks so natural and warms up the face perfectly.

Step 3: Take Marc Jacobs Beauty Twinkle Pop Stick Eyeshadow (I use Three Shakes and Au Revoir most often.) or MAYBELLINE Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow (My favorite is Bad to the Bronze). I typically use the Marc Jacobs stick because it’s so quick to swipe it on my eyelid and a thin line under the lower lash line.

Step 4: Take your eyelash curler and curl your lashes if you need to. (For me, this is a MUST.) After that take Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara and apply 2 coats to lashes.

Step 5:  Take Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel and shape brows quickly. Quick tip: I find that starting on the tail of the brown and then ending with the front gives a more even and natural application.

That’s it! Now run out the door and just put on whatever lipstick or gloss is already in your purse. Nobody will ever know that you woke up late or were in a rush. 😉
